What made you choose to join the Biomedical Science Society?

I wanted to help create a place where people who were studying the subject could come together and support each other and socialise.

What initially sparked your interest in Biomedical Science, and what aspects of the field do you find most fascinating or rewarding?

My initial interest in Biomed was that it was a science-based job where you didn’t have to directly interact with patients.

Are there any specific cases, TV shows or books that ignited your curiosity about biomedical science?

While watching dramatized shows such as “Grey's anatomy” and “The Good Doctor” in high school it piqued my curiosity as to what lab tests are run and the importance of them in hospitals.

How does being part of the Biomedical Science Society enhance your understanding and passion for the field?

Being part of the Biomed Society has helped me realise the vastness of biomedical science as an industry and allowed me to broaden my horizons regarding job opportunities after uni.

What's your favourite board game or video game, and what makes it so enjoyable for you?

My favourite video game is the last of us series as I enjoy the apocalyptic setting as well as the style of game play.
