What made you choose to join the Ethical Hacking Society?

To learn so much more about the cyber industry that isn’t taught by the course, and to meet other cyber security enthusiasts across years. 

 

Have you ever encountered a particularly intriguing or challenging hacking scenario in your studies? If so, please tell us more.  

The Digital Forensics workshop by our lecturer Ian Ferguson that put us in a fictional scenario that mimicked a real-world police investigation where we investigated a suspects SD card. As someone who hasn’t had much experience with this sub-topic the techniques used were quite new to me. 

 

What's your favourite board game or video game, and what makes it so enjoyable for you?  

Destiny 2, I somehow always end up coming back to it. 

 

If you could have a dinner party with any three celebrities, who would you invite and why?  

James May, Stu from KGLW, and James Gunn, would be pretty cool to meet them. 

 

If you could have any animal as a pet, regardless of practicality or legality, what would you choose and why?  

Dragon, or a snake would be pretty solid too.
