What made you choose to join the Abertay University Law Society?
I wanted to meet new interesting people I wouldn’t normally cross paths within university while also strengthening my design skills to help with my own degree.
How has being a member of AULS enhanced your academic and professional journey?
I’ve been able to learn many new skills! Working on Canva and other design applications has strengthened my computer skills. It’s been useful to provide a bit of a break from studying while still making me feel productive and helpful. I’ve also been able to branch out and make connections with people in completely different professions from my own.
If you could live in any fictional world, which one would it be and why?
Maybe Star Wars. I love the idea of the space travel but don’t love the war part. If I could live in the Star Wars world but after the fighting is over.
What's your favourite board game or video game, and what makes it so enjoyable for you?
My favourite game is Super Mario Galaxy for the Nintendo Wii. I grew up playing it, so the whole game is filled with nostalgia for me. And the music is beautiful!
If you could have any animal as a pet, regardless of practicality or legality, what would you choose and why?
I’m absolutely obsessed with Hedgehogs. I’ve only seen a Hedgehog once in my life, but I want one so badly – they look so cute and silly. After doing lots of research it turns out they don’t like to be domesticated so my dreams of owning one were short lived.
If you were stranded on a deserted island, what three things would you want to have with you?
A book, a can of IrnBru, and a pet hedgehog.
