What made you choose to join the Christian Union Society?

I loved the idea of meeting with other Christians at university and looking at how we could include Jesus in our day to day lives here.

How has being a part of the Christian Union Society impacted your faith journey and your relationship with God?

I’ve been encouraged in speaking to others about my faith, the meetings at CU have made it an easier topic to broach and helped me feel more at ease concerning sharing my faith.

How has being a part of the Christian Union influenced your relationships with other students on campus, both within and outside the society?

The Christian Union being here means I have a welcoming space I am excited to bring my friends into, as I know the people are lovely and that anyone can openly ask questions about faith and life as a Christian and they will receive honest and insightful answers.

What is one aspect of your faith that you have been able to explore and deepen through your involvement in the Christian Union Society?

Being able to dig deeper into God’s word with other people has been superb – I love all the different perspectives everyone has.

If you could time travel, would you go to the past or the future, and why?

I’d go back to 2010 and be able to watch Tron Legacy (my favourite film) in the cinema.

If you could have any animal as a pet, regardless of practicality or legality, what would you choose and why?

It would have to be an otter; they are the cutest things ever!

If you could be any fictional character for a day, who would you choose and why?

Bilbo Baggins. Second breakfast and an adventure? Yes, please!
