What made you choose to join the Christian Union Society?

I was really looking for a place to fit in on campus and meet new people and the Christian Union really took me in and helped me feel more at home in Dundee.

How has being a part of the Christian Union Society impacted your faith journey and your relationship with God?

Before coming to Uni, I felt really lost in my life, and quite honestly my faith. I was raised Christian all my life, but different life experiences meant I was really examining what it meant to be a Christian. The Christian Union gave me a chance to really explore that in a judgment-free zone with other Christians or people who were struggling to figure out their own faith. I was able to grow so much in my relationship with those around me and especially in my relationship with God and be supported by some pretty awesome humans on the way.

How has being a part of the Christian Union influenced your relationships with other students on campus, both within and outside the society?

I feel like it has really given me the confidence to be friendly and talk to others more. Especially to share about my faith with people on my course and be able to have meaningful discussions and listen to what those around me are saying.

If you could envision one impactful initiative or project for the Christian Unions Society, what would it be and how do you think it would benefit the members and the broader campus community?

I would love to see Christian Union be a hub for people to hangout on campus and have those deep discussions about life and faith that are so vital to understanding those around us. No matter any student’s faith, belief system or world view, I would love people to feel like CU is a comfortable place to come and ask life’s big questions.

If you could have any animal as a pet, regardless of practicality or legality, what would you choose and why?

I’d choose a llama…totally not because they are so fluffy.

If you could have any superpower for a day, what would you choose and how would you use it?

I would choose the power of filling up, I mean think about it glass is empty fill it instantly, bank amount empty fill it up. The possibilities are totally endless!

What's your favourite cheesy joke or pun?

Why did the man get hit by a bike every day? He was stuck in a vicious cycle. (badabumtis )
