What made you choose to join the Abertay Comics Society?

I wanted a place to share my own love of comics and find other people with the same interest

 

If you could live in any fictional world, which one would it be and why?

So many fictional worlds are so cool because of how deadly they are, my favourites are the worlds of Signalis and Vita Carnis but I would never want to be there. I guess the world of Avatar: The Last Airbender isn't so bad if it's after the events of the show

 

If you could have any superpower for a day, what would you choose and how would you use it?

The ability to freeze time for a for an indefinite time and have my own biology frozen too so I wouldn't age or need to eat, so essentially like having the tick speed to 0 in Minecraft. Maybe I could get all the work im behind on done in that time

 

If you could be any fictional character for a day, who would you choose and why?

If I get to keep all of their physical/mental skills and muscle memory while Im them, easy, spiderman, it would be incredible to be able to swing across the city. If not, Im being Saiki K

 

What is your favourite comic, manga, or graphic novel, and why?

Easiest question ever, the 2008 run of Guardians of The Galaxy, its the introduction for modern day gotg and also has my favourite character ever, Adam Warlock

 

Who's your favourite comic artist/mangaka?

Its a very close run between Dan Mora, Junji Ito, and the duo of Bilquis Evely and Matheus Lopes

 

What's your favourite adaptation?

Going way off centre with this one but theres a Doom 2 mod released in 2023 called myhouse.wad thats in indirect adaptation of the book House of Leaves and its one of the coolest things Ive ever seen
