Name: Scarlet Robinson

Course: BSc (Hons) Computer Games Technology

Year: 2nd

What made you choose to join ASCENT?

I only knew about, and started to go bouldering at the start of first year. I went a few times and massively enjoyed it. I think its a great way to excersise and gain muscle in a way that is interesting and fun.

If you could live in any fictional world, which one would it be and why?
The Boiling Isles - The Owl House. It seems like fun, at least by the end of season 2. Humans can knowingly do magic, and there's a heck of a lot to see. Also hooty.

What's your favourite board game or video game, and what makes it so enjoyable for you?
portal/portal 2 - A no-brainer, the puzzles are great and are actually challenging without crazy hard, unlike a lot of newer titles. And this game knows how to do comedy.

If you could be any fictional character for a day, who would you choose and why?
The Doctor! I could travel anywhere I want in space and time, and drive the tardis! Also wobbly wobbly timey wimey, so I can stretch a day out as long as I want.

What level do you climb at?
As of writing this I climb pretty consistently at a v3-v4.

Why do you boulder?
I boulder mainly for fun and excersise. I struggle with sticking to a gym membership and get bored easily, but bouldering game-ifys the gym experience, the moment I started I immediately wanted to get better.

Where do you go bouldering?
I usually boulder at bloc10 dundee. The group I go with and I hope to go around twice a week regularly. I have been to Avertical World dundee, and Depot Climbing Sheffield in the past; both of which are great.
