What made you choose to join the wargames society?
I moved across the country when I started uni and everyone was nice enough so I’ve hung around and done what I can to make sure we can continue doing what we’re doing.
If you could command any Warhammer faction in real life, which would it be and why?
I would pick the Eldar Exodites because the implications of any other faction being made real is so much scarier.
What’s your most epic tabletop victory or crushing defeat?
Recently I learnt the power of the Deathwatch. My entire army that was twice the size of my opponents, was systematically taken apart piece by piece and I could not do anything about it. 40k is a really unbalanced game sometimes.
If your life were narrated by a Warhammer character, who would it be?
Probably a lord of change, my life has been flipped upside down, inside out and back again that only a daemon of change could make sense of it.
What’s the weirdest or funniest name you’ve ever given a miniature or army?
Daemon spider called Gazza. (Half of my victories can be directly attributed to Gazza)
Would you rather paint 100 minis in one weekend or play a 12-hour apocalypse game with no snacks?
I am someone who stress eats so the idea of doing a 12 hour game with no snack is tantamount to torture so I’ll risk inhaling airbrush fumes painting 100 minis.
What's your favourite board game or video game, and what makes it so enjoyable for you?
Bloodborne easy. I don’t think I need to explain my choice.
If you could have any animal as a pet, regardless of practicality or legality, what would you choose and why?
If we’re ignoring practicality, I would most likely pick a passenger pigeon. Having one as a pet would mean one would have to be alive again and with use of modern cloning technologies there is potential to revive the extinct species.
If you could have any superpower for a day, what would you choose and how would you use it?
I would have the power to manipulate my luck. What are the odds I keep the power forever? Doesn’t matter when you can manipulate the odds.
