The President of Activities and Opportunities sits on the Trustee Board: the governing body of the Students' Association. They actively promote the ideas and needs of students and run campaigns as well as work closely with all societies at Abertay.
They also engage nationally in topics which concern Abertay students, and represent students in University Court: Abertay's governing body.

I enjoy Drawing (My favourite artist is J. C. Leyendecker), playing games (My favourite game being The Outlast trials) and watching movies (My favourite movie is Dracula (1931))
Whilst at Abertay, I have held a number of roles with the Students’ Association.
Within societies I sat on the committee of Abergays as President and later secretary wherein I provided opportunities for students to attend pride parades safely;
I have sat on the committee of SAL Drama as Secretary where I have in the past acted as director and producer within their shows allowing me to work with a variety of students, communicating with and organising actors within our student community has given me a chance to work with students from all walks of life and has taught me run events and campaigns and how to balance these events when something doesn't go to plan.
Within the university I currently stood as the community rep for students with Care experience, a role that was created with my help. As a student who was raised by foster parents I know the importance of 'fostering' a community.
My goals this year are:
Feel free to email me: r.campbell@abertay.ac.uk if you are interested in anything relating to my goals and manifesto, thank you! Can’t wait to work with you all! :]
